Got an Idea? Let's Make a Thing.
Sometimes you know exactly what you want.
Sometimes you have a picture in your head that makes perfect sense to you but absolutely refuses to come out of your brain and become an actual thing.
And sometimes you're sitting there thinking:
“I wonder if Amy could make this...”
Well...
Ask me. 😂
That's exactly why I created Custom Corner at It Stickie.
🐸 Welcome to Custom Corner
It Stickie isn't just a place to grab stickers and decals.
I love making things.
Custom things. Weird things. Personalized things. Things that probably don't belong in a normal product catalog.
If you have an idea, I'd much rather hear about it than have you decide it isn't possible without asking.
That's where Custom Something Else comes in.
It's basically the little escape hatch for your creative ideas.
✨ What Can I Make?
There are already quite a few custom options available through It Stickie, including:
-
Custom stickers
-
Custom decals
-
Custom shirts
-
Custom hoodies and sweatshirts
-
Custom hats
-
Custom digital designs
-
Custom SVGs
-
Custom seamless patterns
-
Custom tumbler wraps
-
Custom glass can wraps
-
Custom business stickers
-
Custom business decals
-
Custom business graphics
-
Custom logos
But what happens when your idea doesn't fit into one of those categories?
You ask anyway.
Maybe you need something I've never listed before.
Maybe you're working on a special project.
Maybe you need a personalized gift.
Maybe you have an idea that is so oddly specific that you're not even sure what to call it.
That's okay.
You don't have to know what category it belongs in.
🎨 You Don't Have to Be a Designer
This is probably one of my favorite parts of doing custom work.
You don't need to know what file type you need.
You don't need to know the difference between vector and raster.
You don't need to know what size something should be.
You don't need to know the fancy design words.
You can literally tell me:
“I want a spooky mushroom with a frog sitting on top wearing a tiny witch hat.”
And I'll understand what we're working with. 😂
You can send me:
-
A rough sketch
-
A screenshot
-
A photo
-
Inspiration images
-
A Pinterest idea
-
A logo
-
A color palette
-
A handwritten note
-
Or just a description
You bring me the idea.
I'll help figure out the rest.
🌿 How Custom Something Else Works
1. Tell Me What You're Thinking
Start with the idea.
Tell me what you're trying to make, what you'll use it for and anything you already know about it.
The more details you have, the better.
But don't worry if you don't have everything figured out.
2. I'll Figure Out the Details
I'll look at your request and figure out what I can make, what materials or files might be needed and what information I need from you.
If I need clarification, I'll ask.
If I think there's a better way to accomplish what you're trying to do, I'll tell you.
The goal isn't just to make something.
It's to make the right thing.
3. You'll Get a Quote
Because Custom Something Else doesn't have one standard product or price, I'll give you a custom quote based on your project.
Your quote may take things like these into account:
-
Design time
-
Materials
-
Size
-
Quantity
-
Production
-
Special requirements
And here's the important part:
You'll know the price before I start.
No surprise bill hiding behind the curtain.
4. Then We Make the Thing
Once you've approved the quote and we've worked out the details, I'll get to work.
If your project involves custom artwork, you'll receive a proof when applicable so we can make sure we're heading in the right direction before production or final delivery.
Then...
We make the thing.
💼 What About Business Projects?
Absolutely.
If you're a small business owner, I can help with custom projects for your brand too.
That might mean custom stickers, decals, packaging pieces, graphics, signage or something completely different.
If you're planning to sell products using custom artwork, just let me know.
Commercial use and licensing can be handled as part of your project so everyone knows exactly what the artwork can be used for.
📋 A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Because custom work is made specifically for you, there are a few guidelines.
Your information needs to be accurate.
Names, dates, wording, measurements, website addresses and other important details should be double-checked before approval.
Inspiration is welcome.
Please send me examples of colors, themes, layouts or styles you like.
That's helpful!
I'll use inspiration to understand your vision while creating something original for your project.
Please own what you send me.
If you provide a logo, photo, artwork or other material, you need to own it or have permission to use it.
I can't reproduce copyrighted or trademarked artwork, characters or logos without appropriate permission.
Custom means custom.
Custom products and designs are made specifically for you, so they are generally final sale once work has begun.
I'll always do my best to make sure we're on the same page before I start.
🐸 So... Can You Make It?
Maybe.
Maybe not.
But there's only one way to find out.
Ask me.
I genuinely like the unusual requests.
The oddly specific ones.
The “okay, hear me out...” ideas.
Those are the fun ones.
You don't need to have everything figured out before you reach out.
You just need an idea.
I'll help you turn it into a plan.
And then we'll see if we can turn that plan into an actual thing.
Got an idea?
Let's make a thing. 🍄✨
